Plot Synopsis – Larry Daley Is No Longer A Night Guard, But He Will Be Back In The Museum
Ben Stiller’s Larry Daley has resigned from his position as a night guard at the Museum of Natural History in Night at the Museum 2. He is now pursuing a career in product development and marketing for different products, including a glow-in-the-dark torch. To see his historical friends who come alive at night, he pays a visit to the museum, where he learns of the unfortunate news about them about to be moved to Washington’s Smithsonian Museum for long-term storage. Despite feeling heartbroken, Larry says his goodbyes to his friends as it’s out of his hands to make them stay in the museum.
Soon after, Larry receives a distress call from Owen Wilson’s Jed, his cowboy pal. Jed begs Larry to come to Washington to defend his companions from the evil pharaoh Kahmunrah (played by Hank Azaria) and his henchmen. As Larry seeks to help his friends, an adventure-filled war takes place between some of the newer historical figures that come to life.
