The first one was released in 2013. The second story, entitled ‘’Four: A Divergent Story Collection’’, was sold separately as an e-book. 

Veronica also wrote the novella entitled ‘’Free Four: Tobias Tells the Story’’, Divergent’s chapter thirteen. This novella was released for Kindle in the U.S. (2012) and in the UK (2013).

Then, the publisher HarperCollins first announced a deal with Veronica for two young adult novels’ publications, ‘’Carve the Mark’’ (2017) and the sequel, ‘’The Fates Divide’’ (2018).
