Pardison Fontaine Is In It For The Win!

Pardison Fontaine is mainly known for 2018 single Backin’ It Up, which he wrote alongside Cardi B. The song reached number 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. Early Life – He Was A Church Choir Singer As A Kid

While Pardison Fontaine doesn’t sound like a hip-hop musician’s name, which usually includes a “Lil’” or a play on words, it is actually his screen name. He was born as Jorden Kyle Lanier Thorpe in New York and had a Christian upbringing that included him going to Soul Saving Station Church four times a week with his family, and he was also a church choir singer. Due to this kind of childhood, he didn’t have many chances to listen to rap music until he was in his early teens, and he eventually fell in love with the genre after listening to DMX’s mixtape and Kanye West’s music.

While Pardison Fontaine was a standout basketball player, he pursued his real passion: music. He recalls that his first rapping experience came in the seventh grade when he was hanging out with his classmates and started rapping with them to some beats. The rapper considers that moment a life-changing experience that allowed him to find his true calling at an early age.

During Pardison Fontaine’s earliest gigs, he used the stage name “Pardi Mcfly,” a name inspired by Back to the Future’s Marty McFly. Eventually, he dropped Mcfly from his stage name and used Fontaine as a reference to a store called Anne Fontaine he used to pass by every day. He realized that the last name is significant, as French poets like Jean de la Fontaine had the same name. From then on, he used Pardison Fontaine as his stage name.

Career – Yup, He Is A Grammy Winner

Pardison Fontaine released his debut mixtape Not Supposed to Be Here in August 2015. If this is the first time you’re hearing about his collaboration with Kanye West, you should know he co-wrote Violent Crimes for his eighth studio album, Ye. In September 2018, he released the track Backin’ It Up that got him more attention.

Of course, he’s only getting more media attention lately, but it’s looking like he needs more to boost his status in the industry. Currently, many of his fans still call him an underrated talent, but you can change that, of course.

Most of his social media posts are his performances, gig schedules, and other musicians he admires. Of course, like most social media users, the rapper also has some selfies where you can see his built physique. But how tall is Pardison Fontaine? He is 6 feet 5 inches, which is really tall.

Pardison Fontaine and Kash Doll were also in a romantic relationship that many don’t know much about, except that it started in late 2019 until early 2020. While the rapper has managed to keep his family and other connections hidden from the public eye, we know that he has one daughter named Jordy, Jr., born in November of 2016. Unfortunately, he has never discussed who or where the mother is. In 2020, he began dating rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
