Margulies portrayed Carol Hathaway in the medical drama ER, which concluded in 2009, lasting 15 years. This is her life-changing role as it rapidly gained her fans and fame. However, it seems like ER’s producers want the actress back for another project!
Indeed, The Good Wife star met some of her old ER cast members, namely George Clooney and Noah Wyle, on April 22, 2021. In the online meeting, Margulies, who was a cameo on ER at the time, stated that George advised her not to accept any project in case she was invited to rejoin.
“George contacted me and told me that if I was considering getting another job, he strongly advised me not to. He believed I would be given a series’ character in the coming days.’ Julianna revealed.

“I knew a buddy who had gotten into a few spiritual things, and I had been studying Buddhism myself, so I headed [to the bookshop],” she recalled. “And I slid my fingers along the bookshelf and chose a book called Awakening the Buddha Within.”
“I didn’t say anything, and I came back to my house. I went to my bed, grabbed the book, shut my eyelids, and [pointed to a passage within the book]. And as I opened my eyes, there was a sentence that said, ‘I knew I needed to study more, not make more money,'” she revealed.
